SHARON OSBOURNE: New Video Interview Available

April 30, 2009

Revolver TV has uploaded a short interview with Ozzy Osbourne's wife/manager Sharon conducted by Full Metal Jackie at the first annual Epiphone Revolver Golden Gods Awards, which was held on April 7 at Club Nokia in downtown Los Angeles. Watch the two-minute chat below.

Ozzy Osbourne told Revolver TV in a brief interview backstage at Epiphone Revolver Golden Gods Awards that Ozzfest will be back in a big way next year after taking 2009 off. Ozzy also confirmed that he recently made a guest appearance on the upcoming solo album from VELVET REVOLVER guitarist Slash, as he explained to Revolver TV. "Unfortunately, this year we're not doing an Ozzfest, but next year we're gonna do a major one because I decided to take some time off," he said. "I'm currently recording a new album, I'm halfway through, and I've been doing some work with Slash, collaborating for his solo album."

Ozzy was given a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Golden Gods, which will be broadcast on MTV2 as a one-hour special debuting Saturday, May 2.

The singer has been rumored to make an appearance on Slash's solo album, which will feature different vocalists on each song.

Ozzy hopes to release his latest studio effort sometime before the end of 2009.

Ozzfest was downgraded to a one-day "destination festival" in Dallas, Texas last summer after more than a decade as a traveling metal and hard rock package.
